Perth International Arts Festival - Chamber Music Weekend

Playing in the 2016 Chamber Music Weekend came a few days after his appearances in Nashville. He gave 3 recitals and a Masterclass in a weekend filled with the most beautiful music.

London-based Australian pianist Jayson Gillham showed why his career has flourished in recent years, playing with a beautiful bell-like tone, a great sense of expressive lyricism, and virtuosity. Gillham joined members of the Tinalley quartet and Andrew Sinclair on bass for an edge-of-the-seat Trout Quintet.

2016 PIAF Chamber Music Weekend Perth Festival’s Chamber Music Weekend created a palpable sense of shared journey for the several hundred people who attended performances in and around Winthrop Hall’ – The Australian

We dedicated this celebration of some of the finest music written for intimate performance to 1976–99 PIAF Artistic Director David Blenkinsop, a lover of fine music.
