Recital 8th August 2015. Viree Classic, Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal

Jayson gave his first recital in Montreal in the Cinquième Salle as part of his prize as the 2014 winner of the Montreal International Music Competition. The programme listed below included Chopin’s, Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, op. 58 which he recorded for his debut ABC Classics disc.

Jayson Gillham, the young Australian pianist who honed his skills in London, wowed the jury, the critics and the public at the 2014 Montreal International Music Competition. For his first Montreal recital, he has chosen a program centred around Chopin’s Third Sonata, an uncontested masterpiece of the Romantic period.First Montreal recital
