One week to go...

Dear friends, fans and followers,

I can't quite believe it is just one week now until the online premiere of Bach and the Romantics. Only three weeks ago I was sitting down (on Zoom!) with Hay Music Trust and Evesham and District Music Club committee members to discuss the programme and the logistics of presenting an online recital together, and now I have my first piece of footage from the recording which I can share with you today...

I can't wait to see the final result, which will have all of my spoken introductions to the pieces. The concert has been recorded by a very talented friend of mine Bobby Williams, who kindly agreed to fit this work into his busy schedule at short notice.

A reminder that once the concert has been streamed on Wednesday, the video will be available to view again any time for six months. This is also important if you can't make it on Wednesday for the premiere. But if you can make the premiere, that would be ideal and then we can all enjoy watching the recital together. There will also be a chat box next to the video and I will be watching it with you, so you can say hello or make comments during the screening!
